Frequently Asked Questions

How early can we start sleep training?
We can begin supporting you and your baby as early as the first night home from the hospital. Our newborn care specialists are prepared to help your baby adjust comfortably to their new environment.

How long does it take to sleep train?
The training process typically takes between 6-12 weeks. The duration may vary depending on daily routines, scheduling, environmental factors, and the natural growth and health progression of your baby.

What do I need to provide for the newborn care specialist?
We work in your nursery and ask only for a comfortable chair where we can sit with your infant.

What should I expect during sleep training? Is there a lot of crying all night?
No, we do not let babies cry all night. Our approach is gentle and supportive. While some crying is natural during sleep training, we focus on minimizing it by providing a comforting and structured environment.

How much does sleep training cost?
Our services start at $30 per hour.

How many nights do I need to schedule for sleep training?
We recommend 3-4 nights. Depending on the progress and specific needs of your baby, we may suggest additional or consecutive visits at certain points in the process.

My family doesn’t believe in sleep training. What should I do?
We understand that cultural views on sleep training may vary. We recommend having open and transparent conversations with family members in your home. Sleep training is a rewarding process that benefits both parents and babies. However, consistency and commitment during the 6-8 weeks of training are essential for success.

My baby is no longer a newborn. Can you still sleep train them?
Yes, all infants can be sleep trained. However, older babies often develop sleep habits that need to be corrected. An aggressive schedule requires at least five weeks minimum. Nightly rates for older infants start at $35 per hour.

What is the placement fee and how much it cost? The placement fee is the agency's charge for successfully matching your family with a suitable newborn care specialist. The placement fee includes the agency's services for candidate search, screening, interviews, contract and invoicing support. The placement fee is 20% of the anticipated contract cost and is due at the time of contract signing.
